They will discover habits to improve self-awareness, learn how to take personal responsibility, and engage in reflective exercises such as the "Game of Leadership" to further develop their leadership skills.
Agile planning and scaling are key components covered in the course. The importance of metrics in Agile and their role in measuring performance will be discussed, along with techniques for managing risk using Agile principles. Participants will gain insights into ten agile metrics and their practical application.
The course also focuses on helping Agile teams become high-performing. A case study will be presented to illustrate potential pitfalls, and participants will identify and address five leadership challenges when working with teams. The "Game of Leadership" concludes with the final round, and strategies for creating high-performing Agile teams will be shared. Participants will hear the last agile leadership tip from a class participant.
Lastly, participants will learn coaching techniques to facilitate team improvement. The AID coaching model will be introduced for giving effective feedback, and participants will explore the choice between a telling or asking stance in coaching. The iGROW coaching model will be taught to enable participants to coach teams for improvement effectively.
